What to Say Next by Julie Buxbaum: A Book Review
Genre: Young Adult
Buxbaum’s What to Say Next is a breath of fresh air. Within the brutal honesty and realistic characters, there is a brillent story of the experience of grief and the journey through it.
I highly enjoyed this novel. With different beginnings and constant endings, Buxbaum somehow manages to make heavy subjects seem light and easy to talk about. As a result, the book was a quick read that remained both realistic and beautiful.

Nice review! I own this book and haven’t read it yet, I was interested because one of the main characters has ASD. 🙂

Thanks! I loved that character. He was so genuine and portrayed ASD perfect. I also liked how the story sort of explained some of his actions and feelings
