This year, I have been trying to complete the A through Z Challenge. As a result, I feel like I have been reading more, but I also feel that my reviews have been getting pushed back as I keep trying to read more and more. I do have some reviews that I am working on. I just figured I would give myself a break for a minute while I try and figure out a schedule I can work with – and create a back log that I can schedule so that I’m not rushing to get something posted.
I figured that I could just record the progress I have made thus far and the statistics for the year.

Reading Plans
I noticed while I was trying to pick a book to read after The Silence of the Girls by Pat Barker that I had 2 books that also featured Greek Mythology. I figured that I would take a quick break from the mythology aspect since Barker was NOT an easy read, but once I finished Jackson, I would start on them as I feel that they are going to be somewhat quick and easy.
I also have one book that I am saving for summer as it is considered a “summer read”, as well as one that I am going to refuse to read in the summer. I feel like it is going to be more of an early Fall read.
This Fall (particularly October) I have 2 books that I am saving that deal with death. I am actually really looking forward to them and kind of hating myself for making me wait. However, they are truly going to set a nice mood come Halloween time.
Conclusion
Am I going to be able to finish the A to Z Challenge? I am honestly not sure. With 52 weeks and a reading goal of 32 books (due to the extras) it equals out to 1.6 weeks per book. GoodReads does say that I am 4 books ahead of schedule, but it is also counting the extra materials I read. I hope to finish the challenge though so I am going to try my best to.
Either way, wish me luck. I’ll try and get better at leaving you reviews.
