Break Week

Hey everyone! Sorry to do this to you, but my life has been pretty hectic….

In my defense, I did get out 3 review posts last week!

Anyway – I decided to take a break from reviewing for a week to “catch myself back up”. I like having a buffer week between reviews and what I am currently reading – something that I completely destroyed in August – so I don’t feel the stress to keep things moving along and rush myself through the material.

On a brighter note – rather than the complete gray of stress reading – August had a lot to give me. I got married. I turned 26. I worked on different creative writing projects. I changed my name… I could go on, but what August gave me was a hard dose of learning.

(There is so much paperwork in being an adult!)

That being said – I am exhausted.

Announcements:

For the month of November, I will be reading and discussing Margaret Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale. Rather than what I did last year for House of Leaves, I am going to be updating throughout the month as if working on a book club schedule – complete with discussion questions.
