Going Back to the Classics

This week, instead of reading something new, I went back to the classics and read my old-time favorite, Pride and Prejudice. For weeks I have been tempted to pull my copy out again because of how frequently it was showing up on my Instagram feed – it seemed like everyone was either reading it again or for the first time and I longed to join them. Instead I tried reading another book, but could barely get into it – so I succumbed to my desire and brought out Austen. As a result, I am not going to do a book review this week. Austen has and will always have my heart – so I don’t feel I can be completely bias in my scoring. (To me, Austen will always have 5 stars.)

Updates

Star Conversion

I’ve been thinking about how to make my scoring system into something that can be easily turned into stars. I am now thinking of making it like something like in the games.

To get to each star, certain scores have to be achieved.

1 Star: 10 or under points

2 Star: 11 to 20 points

3 Star: 21 to 32 points

4 Star: 33 to 37 points

5 Star: 38 to 40 points
