So first of all I would like to apologize for my slacking. Last week I was trying to read The Circle by Dave Eggers. I’ve read it before and really liked it, but for some reason I couldn’t get past the first couple pages, so I tried to start Love Medicine by Louise Erdrich.
So some reason, I am finding no motivation to keep reading these books. Have any of you found yourself unable to become attached with a book that you want to read after going on a reading bender? I could put it down toward school getting stressful at the moment, but I still am giving myself free time. It is just during the free time, I don’t want to read the books I’ve chosen.
I have a pile I want to read though. I’m going to go through them to see if any call out to me. Hopefully one does.
Comment down below what you do when you can’t get into any of the books you try to read. Do you have anything that gets you back on track with your pace of books or do you take a break? Do you force yourself to read it? Do you make a pot of tea or coffee and just sit down with it to relax? Let me know!

I tend to read romance books especially those that would make a good romantic comedy. Romance is my guilty pleasure, so I read it sparingly. Whenever I go a few weeks without being able to calm my mind long enough to read a book, I’ll pick up a light romance or a Harlequin and somehow my brain just melts into peace. While reviews are super short for them, I know that my brain is reset for different genres.
